Duplex Coating

While hot dip galvanizing is considered to be the most effective method of corrosion protection, in corrosive intense environments it is often recommended that after galvanising, the steel also be coated with a specialised paint to ensure a longer product lifespan. This process is known as duplex coating.

Transvaal galvanisers offers duplex coating services as either an alternative to galvanising or to afford additional protection after galvanising has taken place. Whether or not this process is required is determined by the end-user specifications.
